Chair within a chair

I'm glad Amos finds me to be so accommodating. Not only am I allowing him to recline on my chair but I'm allowing him to recline on me while I'm reclining on the chair.

Please come home camera, please!

The camera is still at the camera doctor. Can you believe it??? I can't. All this waiting just for a lousy door. Hasn't anyone heard of duct tape? Baling wire??? And Michael and Beth call themselves engineers. Dreadful...just dreadful.

What prompted this rant? I'll tell you. This picture:
I was chewing, ever so photogenically, on my octopus. Beth attempted to capture said chewing on film (and by "film" I mean "on her phone"). Alas, I had vacated the premises before the image could be captured. So you, my faithful public, will have to use your imagination.

Fun with a Frisbee

Well, the Frisbee can now be referred to in past tense. That's right - I chewed it to bits. And my trusty sidekick, the ever-so-noble Mr. Amos Q. Beaglesworth, was powerless to stop me.
And yes, Frisbee is apparently a proper noun. At least according to the dogblog spell check. Frisbee is good...frisbee is bad.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Still camera-less at the casa (yes, it's still at the camera doctor). But I will not be deterred from wishing you, my blog-reading public, a Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Trip to the vet

Michael and Beth took me to see Aunt Emily at the clinic today. It was great. I got a pedicure. And you know what comes with a pedicure? That's right. Peanut butter. I still had some on my nose. Luckily my tongue licks with a hummingbird-esque rapidity. So fast that it cannot be captured by conventional photographic techniques.Pedicure, peanut butter, and a new frisbee! Sorry for the lousy picture quality...the good camera is still in the shop. :-(

A skateboarding bulldog???

I stumbled upon this YouTube video and feel compelled to share it with you, my faithful public. Maybe one day I too will master the art of skateboarding...a bulldog can dream, right?

At long last...an Avery update

Well, the camera is still in the shop. Who knew a broken SD card door would be such an ordeal? The part is backordered (and has been for six weeks or so). So until the camera comes back home, I must resort to lower-tech means of communicating with my public.

We've had a lot of snow lately. Here's Amos playing in the snow...it's so deep that all you can see is his tail.Just kidding. The snow isn't that deep. It's maybe as deep as our tummies. It's just easier for me to draw a tail than to draw Amos in his entirety. I don't have opposable thumbs, you know. Here's my try at the rest of Amos:
