I'm on patrol this evening. It's a very important post. You can't see Michael but he's in the window well. With a spatula, a pair of tongs, and a strainer. Rescuing frogs. I'm here, Michael, if you need my help.

Michael and Beth say today is Monday. Feels like SUNday to me. Ah, patio. You are so warm to me. 

Landscaping

Michael and Beth have been spending a lot of time outdoors lately. I don't know why they get to dig holes in the yard but  Amos and I get in trouble for digging. I do commend their choice of mulch. It's delicious. So are the Black-eyed Susans. I wonder what this tree tastes like...

Memorial Day road trip!

Michael and Beth took us to Kansas for Memorial Day weekend and oh what fun we had. It was a long trip. We made our first stop in Illinois and I found some shade in a parking lot.

Then it was on to Missouri and Kansas where we spent time with lots of nice people and lots of nice puppies. Well, some puppies were nicer than others. And I wasn't the nicest puppy at all stops (sorry, Molly). But I digress. This was Amos's first trip to the sunflower state. I wish Michael and Beth would take us on more trips. Maybe they don't because I ran away that one time? Or because I pant incessantly when in the car? Again, I digress. One of my highlights was the toy selection at Grandma Dorothy's house. 

Amos's highlight was napping/playing dead.

Hello again.  Did you miss me?  What a year it has been.  Amos and I moved to a new casa in the country.  We enjoy having more room to stretch our legs.  Especially in the SNOW!!!  We spent some time outside yesterday, supervising as Michael and Beth shoveled, shoveled, and shoveled.

 We're enjoying the last day of the l...o...n...g Thanksgiving weekend with Beth and Michael.  Enjoying by taking naps in the sun, of course.
