Some days I think I'm a cow
Mostly the days when Michael mows. There's something about fresh grass clippings that I can't resist. Maybe I'm part Brown Swiss.

Find the beagle
It's like Where's Waldo. But with Amos. There he is in the shade, between the hose bib and the native grasses. I find him here often, just watching the world go by.

Shop supervisor
I've taken on a very important role, that of (self-appointed) shop supervisor. Recently I've been overseeing the shop organization effort. And soon I'll be overseeing Michael as he begins to patch Rustang Sally. That's Sally resting on the jack stands. I prefer napping on the shop floor, but to each his/her own.

Garden off limits
Beth's garden is thriving this year. Perhaps because it's been made off limits to Amos and me. It's a shame, really. I did enjoy the green peppers last year. That's right, I ate the entire green pepper plant. Ok, I ate several entire green pepper plants. They were delicious. So green. So peppery.
Name that varmint
Amos. Yes, this varmint's name is Amos. But that's not the varmint I'm interested in today. Name this varmint:
There's a family of these living in the trees. We thought they were beavers for a while. We're leaning toward woodchucks now. Any information or guesses would be appreciated.

Avery on patrol
I'm on patrol this evening. It's a very important post. You can't see Michael but he's in the window well. With a spatula, a pair of tongs, and a strainer. Rescuing frogs. I'm here, Michael, if you need my help.

Memorial Day road trip!
Michael and Beth took us to Kansas for Memorial Day weekend and oh what fun we had. It was a long trip. We made our first stop in Illinois and I found some shade in a parking lot.
Then it was on to Missouri and Kansas where we spent time with lots of nice people and lots of nice puppies. Well, some puppies were nicer than others. And I wasn't the nicest puppy at all stops (sorry, Molly). But I digress. This was Amos's first trip to the sunflower state. I wish Michael and Beth would take us on more trips. Maybe they don't because I ran away that one time? Or because I pant incessantly when in the car? Again, I digress. One of my highlights was the toy selection at Grandma Dorothy's house.
Amos's highlight was napping/playing dead.
