The great fence project of 09

And this is why it's been quiet on the blog front: the great fence project of 09. I have to admit - I don't know what all this "fence" entails. But Michael and Beth promise that my life will improve 110%. Here's a rundown of the past few days. This was my first hint that something was amiss...when those Holey Moley folks showed up and marked up the lawn. Then giant holes appeared in the yard. There were apparently some challenges with creating the giant holes. Like giant rocks (above), or holes that tried to eat Emily...
Then some big sticks got stuck in the ground.I was very excited on Monday because Michael and Beth didn't go to work. But they spent the entire day working in the yard instead of playing with me. :-(I will keep you posted (get it? posted?) on the state of the fence.

Yes, I'm still here

I apologize for the recent silence on the blog front. Things have been a little busy at the casa. I have been able to make some time for me, though...laying on my chair, gnawing on my bowling pin.

Another one bites the dust

This is me...And this is the latest inanimate object I ingested. It's a stick...
Yes, an actual stick. Not a fake stick made of a space-age polymer. My tummy itches. But the good news is I'm now equipped to battle the great vampire invasion of 09.

Beth's back!

And no, she's not strangling me. Even though that's what it looks like in the picture. She's just hugging me...hugging me around the neck.

Nap time

Rainy Sundays are great for napping. On second thought, any day is great for napping.
